The Advanced Marksmanship Techniques course is a precision shooting program of instruction for pistol.  We employ many different training concepts to aid the shooter in the mastery of the fundamentals of marksmanship. Topics Include: Power Point Presentation Principal Firearm Safety Marksmanship Fundamentals Review Classroom Practical Exercises Understanding ‘Arc of Movement’ with range application Understanding ‘Recoil Anticipation’ Specialized range training drills to defeat ‘Recoil Anticipation’ Understanding bullet trajectory versus line of sight Application of sight picture hold at various target distances Precision marksmanship at variable distances (5 yards - 100 yards) Minimum Standard bullseye course of fire from 15 and 25 yards This is not a basic course and is not for inexperienced shooters.   individuals must attend our Pistol Safety and Marksmanship course prior to enrollment.  We may waive the prerequisite for certain individuals with sufficient experience.  Call for details.

      AR 15 / M-4 Carbine Level 1       The AR 15 / M-4 Level 1 Carbine course is an introductory level          program for the firearm.  Basic nomenclature (parts of the firearm          and how they function), basic manipulation and marksmanship          using aperture sights are the focus points of the course.  No scopes          electronic sighting devices or lasers are used in the course.  The          marksmanship section of training is specifically set for use of iron          sights only.  Individuals who complete the course may use those          alternate sighting devices in follow-up training. Youth Firearms Safety The Youth Firearms Safety Course was designed to integrate parent and child learning in a controlled environment to increase gun safety awareness while teaching the basics of marksmanship. The parent actively engages in parts of the training with the child so that the parent has the knowledge to correct gun safety violations during hunting events or private shooting where a firearms instructor is not present. Course duration is subject to the number of students enrolled. One-on-One training method for each child ensures safety and promotes course learning objectives.  We provide the firearm and ammunition in this course.  Age limit 8-17. Topics Include: Power Point Presentation Principle Firearms Safety Joint parent/child participation and learning Primary Training Goal: safe gun handling/familiarization Secondary Training Goal: marksmanship familiarization Youth Model .22 long rifle single shot Youth Model 410 shotgun single shot Bench Rest and Standing Positions Bullseye and Steel Targets Interactive class review regarding gun safety

Gun Cleaning Workshops Our Gun Cleaning Workshops offer dedicated blocks of instruction with oversight from a certified firearms instructor, gunsmith or armorer. Workshops include: Semi-Auto Pistol and Revolver AR Platform Carbine Pump Action Shotgun Bring your own cleaning kit or use one of ours.
Low Light Pistol Tactics  (Night Fire) The Low Light Course focus is to learn and deploy tactics and techniques to positively identify a threat or non-threat target in low light or no light environments using an independent flashlight.  Accurate engagements of threat targets are expected with execution of combat and tactical magazine changes without stowing the flashlight or holstering the firearm.  No weapon mounted lights or lasers are used in the course.  Lights and lasers may be used in follow-up training.  Topics Include: Power Point Presentation Principle Firearms Safety Legal and Moral Obligations Tactical Use of an Independent Flashlight w/ Pistol Low Light Shooting Techniques Combat Magazine Change w/ Flashlight  Tactical Magazine Change w/ Flashlight  Positive Threat Identification and Engagement Weapon stoppage clearing Lasers, Night Sights and Weapon Lights advantages / disadvantages Individuals must complete our Pistol Tactics Level 1 Course prior to enrollment.  We may waive the prerequisite for certain individuals with prior firearms training and experience conducive with our methods of pistol manipulation.  Call for details.

Follow-Up Training Follow-up training is offered to our clients who complete one or more of our standard firearms courses.  Follow-up training normally consist of all range time with no classroom time.  There are some exceptions to this rule.  After a client attends one of our standard firearm courses, he or she may register for follow-up training where we skip the classroom and repeat the same or similar courses of fire associated with the full program.  Those who participate in regular follow-up training continue to build and sharpen the marksmanship and manipulation skill set.  This leads to conditioned response training which is critical in surviving a deadly threat situation.       Follow-Up training classes require at least 2 participants.  One     person requesting a follow-up is subject to one-on-one training fees.
